Chruścik for Black and White Wednesday #69

Chruscik

Chruścik (Chruściki) - Polish fried dough squares or twists, also known as Angel Wings.

This is my contribution to Black and White Wednesday, presided over by Cinzia of Cindystar, and hosted this week by Sreevalli of Ammaji Recipes.

A lovely picture! This speciality is very similar to our "Merveilles" (carnival fried dough rounds)...

Cheers,

Rosa

Your fried breads look delicious! Are they sweet or savory? Beautiful black and white image!

They remind me of frappe (or chiacchiere or a number of other names) that we make in Italy for Carnival. Lovely photo, as usual.
