Veggie/Fruit a Month - Peaches - The Round-Up

It give me great pleasure to present a collection of ripe and fragrant recipes which mostly take advantage of the fresh crops of succulent peaches that many of us have seen for weeks in our markets. Yet, fresh peaches alone do not a great treat make. Canned peaches have long been a staple during the off season or where peaches do not naturally grow. Though they do not taste like the fresh fruit, they do have a particularly unique texture and taste that grows on you. The results can be just as much as a treat, and I am glad to see them represented here.

Thank you very much for your wonderful contributions. Special thanks to Priya of Mharo Rajasthan's recipes for creating the VFAM event and allowing me the privilege to host it. Tiffin Carrier Antc/ique's is currently host VFAM Cauliflower for September. Although available year round in many parts of the world, I am sure September will see many offerings. If time allows, I will surely participate, but for now, I have much catching up with commenting on event posts which have been coming in from a variety of sources. I hope you enjoy the deletable treats set forth below. See you soon!

Thanks very much, everyone! Glad you enjoyed the presentation. It was a great pleasure. Even now, there are a few peaches left in the markets, however crowded with apples they are. : )
