Tempus certainly does fugit. Back in early June, Haalo of Cook Almost Anything at Least Once was making arrangements with me to host another round of Weekend Herb Blogging. I am happy to announce that it is now official: Weekend Herb Blogging #299 is currently being hosted by yours truly on The Well-Seasoned Cook. This is the tenth time I have the privilege and fun of welcoming your wonderful recipes featuring virtually any ingredient that grows on a plant. The event will run through Sunday, September 4, at 3:00 P.M. Utah time. I will have the round-up online on Monday, September 5. The past several weeks have been particularly busy for me, but I can always fit in another presentation of your creativity and generosity.
The rules are simple and have helped make Weekend Herb Blogging the enduring classic food-blogging event which Kalyn of Kalyn's Kitchen founded in 2005:
Please prepare a recipe and post it to your blog. It can be any course or cuisine, with or without meat, but must be predominantly prepared with an ingredient that grows on a plant. Please ensure that you post links to this announcement as well as Haalo's rules page.
Upon completion, please send me the following information so that I can ensure you will be included in this week's roundup:

Thank you in advance for all the great eats which will be coming my way. And a special thanks to Haalo for entrusting me with the happy duties yet another time.
