My Legume Love Affair 37 - The Round-Up

July was a great month. As synchronicity would have it, I had haphazardly scheduled myself for a hosting stint for my very own My Legume Love Affair just as it hit its thirty-seventh month, which officially commenced the fourth year of an event. I never expected it to have such staying power. The long-term success of this event is, of course, all because of you: your talents, your creativity, your vitality, your generosity. The food-blogging world has exploded since I launched The Well-Seasoned Cook over four years ago. There are dozens of events to catch one's fancy, yet you have chosen MLLA to participate in. I am very thankful and humbled, and pretty tickled, too.

Last month introduced a number of guest blogger stints, a feature that was so successful and fun that I will continue it on a smaller scale. You can expect to see familiar as well as new faces on The Well-Seasoned Cook every month no matter who is guest hosting. I personally thank Sra, Ricki, Lana, Xiaolu, Simona, Anh, Cynthia, Val, Katie, and Joanne for committing their creative energies for special MLLA posts.

Since Year 4 is something to celebrate, I have awarded four giveaways by random drawings to the following lucky winners:

* Akheela of Torview Toronto - A copy of Helene Dujardin's Plate to Pixel.
* Kalinda of Wheat-Free Meat-Free - Also a copy of Plate to Pixel.
* Shanavi of Kitchen Secrets - A copy of Aliza Green's Beans
* Eve of Garden of Eating - Hurst Bean Prize

I will be contacting the winners to arrange for delivery of their prizes. In the meantime, I present another lovely and delicious array of fine recipes from around the world which will tempt, fascinate, comfort, and amaze you. Feast your eyes on these! Thanks again!
