Happy Hallowe'en Susan! I was just thinking of Hallowe'en from my childhood persepective. Ir's not what it used to be but we all make our own traditions!!
ReplyDeleteThis is just utterly delightful!
ReplyDeleteI had never seen painted pumpkins. I hope you'll have a fun day. The carving has not yet started here, but it will soon.

Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteHow adorable are they--?? Were these for sale somewhere? :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween! These are so cute! You know the big green-grey pumpkins with white flesh that we call ash pumpkin - in India, they are painted to appear ugly and frightening and hung on houses and buildings to ward off the evil eye.
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween to you too, Susan!!
ReplyDeleteHalloween's been and gone, so belated wishes.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if its a silly one, but you picture has put a huge smile on my face. :)
Hi, everyone! I trust everyone had a happy, even if they didn't do the trick-or-treat stomp. Thanks for your dear comments.
ReplyDeleteVal - Sometimes I do believe we have children just so we can feel the thrill and joy of wonder through them. : )
Valli - They are spray painted, then drawn with markers. I don't think they are pie pumpkins, so I hope they wind up peeled and hacked for compost after the holiday.
Yes, Ricki. They were for sale. Every year the same farm stand puts on the same display.
Sra - Never underestimate the power of the evil eye. When we move to a house, there will certainly be all kinds of ominous threats hanging in our doorway. ; )
