My Legume Love Affair - The Host Lineup
Black-Eyed Peas.
I'm speechless (almost). I asked, you rallied. No sooner was the PUBLISH button hit on a post calling for guest hosts of the now monthly bean event, My Legume Love Affair, than the emails and comments nearly short circuited my laptop. You'd think I was running a contest or something (well, I am: a monthly drawing for a nifty little cookbook or kitchen-y gizmo, but still).
UPDATE FEBRUARY 2009: The months are currently booked through December. I will continue to contact those on the wait list, as well as new requests, for slots in 2010. Please be patient; you will hear from me very soon. The long road ahead is well paved with luminous, I mean, leguminous intentions. I thank you all for your interest in hosting and participation!

I hope it doesn't run out of, um, gas. LOL! I'm looking forward to my month.
Anything for you.
Hi Susan,
Thanks for letting me join in the fun.
This will also be a great way for me to keep my blog going at least till June next year... not that I intend to quit... ;-)
It's just such a good idea for an event. I rarely manage to enter anything but WHB due to lack of time, but I'll try to manage this one for sure one of these months.
Susan, if you need a guest host beyond Sept 2009, I'm around! :)
I am waiting for my turn - I hope no one takes away my bean!
Leguminous intentions, you are so clever Susan!
Looking forward to it.
Lori Lynn
I am SO excited that this has become a regular event! Hooray!
Hey - I turn away for a few days and MLLA turns into a monthly event! Hurrah! If anybody drops out and you need a host, I'm happy to be on standby - just let me know. Otherwise I'll have to be more on the ball and sign up next time when you run out of hosts :)
Sra – Your time is coming. : )
Coco – XOXO
Nora – Your host stint will be something we can all look forward to.
Kalyn – Would love to have you on board. I know how eventing is an all-consuming task.
Jyothsna – I’ve put you on the wait list should the event continue next fall.
Sunshine Mom – It’ll be here before you know it. No worries; no one will take your bean. : )
Thanks, Lori Lynn.
Astra – Thank you. Hope you can join when the time and mood allow.
Jeanne – Would be very glad to have you pinch hit or carry on. I’ve put you on the list. Thanks!
