There's a lot to love. Easter is full of all sorts of blessings. I actually found fertile eggs yesterday for the first time in my local supermarket - and we're not even talking about Whole Foods. How cool is that?
One my farmers' market vendors--who happens to live on a quarter-acre lot and raises all of his produce there--keeps these chickens in his back yard. The eggs are a lovely Victorian blue. Since the chickens eat the grubs and weed seedlings in the home-farmer's yard, the yolks are so rich in beta-carotenes that they're orange.
I cook and bake in that cute little galley kitchen up there. It's not as tidy as it used to be, and the walls are a deep tagine red now, but it's a cozy, homey space where you are always welcome to drop in. You can reach me at thewellseasonedcook AT yahoo DOT com. I'd be delighted to hear from you.

I'm sure they taste great, too.
